This site was built with AI assistance. Here’s what that means, in the same format I use for BubbleFacts.
SPDX-AI-Disclosure: ai-assisted
SPDX-AI-Model: Claude (via Claude Code)
SPDX-AI-Provider: Anthropic
SPDX-AI-Scope: Theme and plugin code, page layout, supporting page text.
ai-assisted means AI did part of the work under my direction, and I reviewed all of it. It doesn’t mean the site was generated without oversight.
What AI did
- Code. Claude Code, Anthropic’s AI coding agent, wrote the WordPress theme and plugin that run this site. Very little was typed by hand.
- Design. Claude proposed the layout, type, and colors. I chose, changed, and approved them.
- Supporting text. Pages like this one were drafted with Claude from my own notes and profiles, then edited by me.
- Monogram cleanup. The CJF diamond in the browser tab is my own design from the 1990s. Claude redrew it as a vector from my low-resolution original, keeping its shapes and colors.
What AI didn’t do
- My story. My work history, how I work, and what I’m looking for are in my own words.
- Photos. My portrait is a real photograph by a photographer, only cropped. No AI-generated or AI-enhanced images.
Human in the loop
I’m responsible for everything on this site, whoever or whatever wrote it. Before a change goes live:
- Checks. On a local copy: an accessibility scan against WCAG 2.2 AA, the security headers and Content Security Policy, and phone, dark-mode, and print layouts.
- Review. I read every page and approve every change.
- History. Changes are tracked in git. Commits written with Claude Code end with a
Co-Authored-By: Claudetrailer, so the history shows which changes it wrote.
